In 2016, there were 144 Maker Faires in 26 different countries. Maker Faire Hannover, the third-largest event of its type in the world, is one of the biggest international maker events. Around 15,000 people gather here to marvel at hundreds projects on around 200 stands, share ideas, and learn from one another. Young people who are interested in technology love the hands-on workshops and activities offered by exhibitors.In June, we will announce all the exhibitors for this year and provide further information about the program.A slightly different trade fairThe Maker Faire concept is a product of the USA. We are talking about "The Greatest Show & Tell on Earth". This means a Maker Faire can be a science show, a fair or something entirely new.
